About Alison


Elected as a State Representative for Plymouth, Reading & Woodstock from 2005-2016, Alison served on House Ways & Means; House Judiciary; Legislative Council Committee, chair; Women’s Caucus, and Windsor County Caucus. In 2008, she was awarded Outstanding VT Legislator by the VT Natural Resources Council, the VT Farm Bureau’s Stephanie Bourdeau Women in Agriculture Leadership Award, and Citizen of the Year by the Woodstock Rotary in 2002. She coordinated Woodstock’s volunteer response to Tropical Storm Irene, is the chair of the Billings Park Commision, and a former board member of the Vermont Arts Council, Vermont Natural Resources Council, Pentangle Council on the Arts and Sustainable Woodstock. She is a member of St. James Episcopal Church, Woodstock Garden Club and King’s Daughters.
